Meet Our Team

David Rudduck (Managing Director, Consultant, Team Leader)
David has been fixing computers since the days of DOS, long before a younger Bill Gates introduced Microsoft Windows to the world.
His passion for technology saw him excel in all computer studies, challenging his teachers and being awarded the prize for computing during his senior years at The Southport School (TSS, QLD).
In January 2000 whilst studying at Griffith University his services were employed by a then small superannuation administration company, Compass Administration. As David's business grew he realised that the skills he needed to improve his service to his clients was not taught at Uni so he left to further develop the business.
His passion for technology has resulted in a wide range of projects ranging from touch screen driven in-car computer, network security solutions for Warner Roadshow Studios and countless open source project contributions.
In 2008 David will be working with his team to attain his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification as well as learn Spanish, preparing his study routine to return to university to study Business.
Kevin Diprose (Senior Network Engineer)
Anyone who has worked with Kevin will tell you that he is the world's most patient person. We all know how frustrating computers can be and no matter what the challenge, Kevin manages to keep himself cool, calm and collected.
Kevin's experience dates back to the Air Force where he was an electronics engineer on aircraft. As computers became a more integral part in the air force, he naturally progressed to looking after the computer systems of the air force.
Upon leaving the air force, Kevin worked for Practical Computer Systems (PCS) in Toowoomba where he managed local Council and Shire Windows based networks.
Kevin has been able to pass on this wealth of experience and helped our team implement procedures which make managing a business network easier.
Derek Olson (Network Engineer, Rentals)
Derek came to us from Computerland in 2006 and works with Melina from our office at Warner Roadshow Studios, supporting the film and television productions that operate at the Oxenford complex.
Derek's background in both Windows and Macintosh based systems has greatly helped him in his role at the studios as most production staff chooses to use Apple based computer systems.
Derek is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and intends to continue on his studies to complete his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
A family man, Derek and his wife Megan have two young boys. Derek enjoys spending his time off from work with his family.
Melina Yung (Network Engineer, Training, Documentation)
Following her tour of the world, Melina has returned to our team with a renewed enthusiasm for IT.
During her travels, Melina worked in London for 5 months contracting to Virgin Records in the IT Department, where she was responsible for supporting all Virgin Record stores in the UK and Ireland as well as supporting the Virgin Records head office, which comprised of over 300 staff.
Melina joined our team in 2003 as a junior network engineer, following her career at Munro Accountants where she self taught her way from receptionist to network administrator - completing various certifications along the way.
Many of our clients were very disappointed when she left and were thrilled to hear that she had returned in 2007. Her experience in other positions combined with her knowledge of computers helping her to teach our clients how to improve many common tasks and improve their efficiency.
In 2008 Melina aims to complete her Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certifications.
Grant Sleeman (Developer)
Grant and his former team leader Christian have been fundamental in the design and development of many of our major projects - including the VLAN administration system "NetShepherd" which was developed for Warner Roadshow Studios.
What many people don't know is that Grant struggled to gain employment in the IT sector due to his lack of experience and qualifications and that he taught himself the PHP language whilst completing the job application for our team.
A true pioneer in the field of computing, Grant and David are currently working to open source the NetShepherd project in 2008.
In 2006 Grant returned to University to study a dual degree in Computer Science and Mathematics - his goal is to work for the Department of Defence in the field of cryptography.
Grant continues working with our team during his University holidays, furthering our internal products jTRAK and NetShepherd.
Katie Robinson (Receptionist, Accounts)
The voice of the young vibrant receptionist you'll hear when you call our head office is that of young Katie.
Currently completing her traineeship in Office Administration, Katie is a cheerful young lady who loves animals and cars. Katie and her boyfriend often take their MX-5 off to track days and they have recently adopted a small dog named Keisha.
Nilla (Moral Support Officer, WMD Inspector)
Our honorary member of the team is a little cat called Nilla.
Adopted from the Animal Welfare League, Nilla has become a centre piece of the main office and is quite possibly the world's most photographed feline.
Over the years her escapism skills have been honed by Grant who has enjoyed hiding her in the many odd boxes lying around the office. She also inspects new visitors for weapons of mass destruction, ensuring safety to the team and office servers.
